About the beach
La Note Bleue is a sleek, stylish private beach, located on Larvotto beach in Monaco. Named as a tribute to a famous saxophonist, the beach club has retained its links to the jazz world, and during the summer, it puts on regular musical evenings with a rich program of artists. In fact the beach even has its own radio station on I-Tunes. The décor of the beach is simple, yet refined, with soft flowing white drapes, bamboo trees and olive plants creating a relaxing atmosphere. The terrace has a machine for creating a cool, fresh mist to cool down guests in the heat of the Rivera sun. The beach beds, covered in tasteful white cotton, are the perfect place to take a nap under an umbrella, or enjoy a delicious cocktail. Open from mid April to mid October, La Note Bleue is one of the slickest places to hang out in Monaco.

Les Jardins Exotiques, set up in the hills above Montecarlo, is home to over 1000 species of cacti, as well as an impressive cave, where bizarre rock formations can be seen. The views from the gardens are tremendous, taking in the stunning Côte d’Azur coastline below.
The famous Monaco Grand Prix, which attracts rich and famous people from around the world to the principality every year, is one of the things for which Monaco is best known. When the race is not on, it is still possible to walk around the famous circuit, which holds so many years of history.
Monaco is well known on the Côte d’Azur for its animated nightlife, and crowds of young party-goers flock to the streets every evening to enjoy the many bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Join the crowds of people dancing until the small hours at the likes of Jimmy’z, La Rascasse and Black Legend. If the morning after is taking its toll, it might be an idea to pay a visit to the Thermes Marin spa and wellness centre, for some excellent relaxation and pampering.

By bus: Buses numbers 4 or 6 from the centre of town will take you to Larvotto beach. Monaco is well connected with other nearby towns by bus.
By train: Take a train to Monaco, then either get a taxi to La Note Bleue, or walk around the coastline in the direction of Italy, and you will reach it.
