About the Beach
Situated on the liveliest part of the Côte d’Azur, Rive Gauche is a private beach located on the centre of the Boulevard du Littoral in Juan-les-pins. Recently renovated, this private beach sits comfortably across from the sunny beaches of the Lérins Islands and offers days of relaxation, comfort, and a warm, tranquil sea. The private beach is open between 9am and 7pm every day between April and September.

Juan les Pins is renowned for having the best nightlife on the French Riviera, particularly during the summer months. Rive Gauche hosts parties regularly from 11pm until the early morning during the summer months. Watch the sun set over Nice, party the night away and watch the sun rise over Cannes.
There are plenty of activities to do. This is after all the young people’s hub of the Riviera. Juan-les-Pins offers most watersports, just stroll along the beach and you will find plenty of things to do catering to all tastes, including jetski, canoeing, sailing, and fishing.
Juan-les-pins is famous for it’s annual Jazz festival ‘Jazz à Juans’ held each July, twinned with New Orleans the town regularly plays host to Jazz bands from it’s sister city. Headliners over the years have included Ray Charles, Little Richard, and B.B. King to name a few. The 52nd festival will be held in 2012, already confirmed artists include Sonny Rollins, Mike Stern, and Biréli Lagrène.
One of the other great opportunities available in Juan les pins is to rent a boat for a day and tour the beautiful coastline.
How to get there
By car: Exit the A8 motorway at the Antibes junction, and follow signs for Juan les Pins.
By bus: Juan-les-pins is served by numerous buses from most local towns. The number 200 bus costs one Euro and runs between Nice and Cannes. This stops at Juan-les-pins, though be sure to ask the bus driver to tell you where to get off, as it can be easily missed.
By train: The main Juan-les-pins train station is central and has frequent connections with Nice, Monaco, Grasse and St Raphael. The train station is just a short walk away from the beach.
