Welcome to BEAULIEU-SUR-MER PRIVATE BEACH ZELOS BEACH

ZELOS BEACH, Private Beach, Beaulieu sur Mer, French Riviera

About the beach
Zelo’s beach is a luxury private beach in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Its rows of stylish white cabanas on the sand give it a glamorous, chic feel, perfect for a romantic rendezvous. Famous international DJs play funky music, making it a good favourite with a modern, young crowd wanting laid back afternoons and a party atmosphere in the evenings.

Not only will you 'wow' your crowd by laying back in Zelo Beach and taking in the experience, but also because its not as crowded as Pampelonne (Saint Tropez) where Zelo Beach gets the 'South Of France'esque style from, you will truly be calm and relaxed.

This luxurious beach in the quiet midst of Beaulieu-sur-Mer is open between 25th May to 15th October, and is very popular due to its inspiration from the sister beach Zelo's Monte Carlo, you can bask in the Riviera sun, lay back and order sushi to be waited to you on the beach or alternatively you can visit the shisha bar along the Zelo's Beach and relax with friends in the shade for a short break from sunbathing.

In order to ensure you get a sunbed, or a place on this beach to complete your perfect French Riviera summer vacation, ensure that you book now, as when it gets to the summer it will be highly likely that the beach is full every day in the high season, so make sure that you are not watching other visitors in envy who booked earlier!

Attractions nearby
The nearby Greek Kerylos villa is perfectly positioned on the edge of the Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. Built during the ‘Belle Epoque’ period, it is a wonderful recreation of an ancient Greek villa. Set around a pretty courtyard, the stately rooms of this magnificent dwelling are home to a stunning collection of opulent furniture and wall decorations. There are also many frescos depicting scenes from Greek mythology. The impeccably maintained Mediterranean gardens sit against the backdrop one of the most beautiful stretches of Riviera coastline. This place of visit offers interesting activities for the whole family to do, for the children they can be immersed into the arts and crafts of the ancient craftsmen by participating in a Greek Mosaic workshop.

Also, below, are the events of 2015, which will be happening at the Greek Kerylos Villa both for children and adults:

From 26th-30th April and 18th-23rd October: 'A day in a palace in Ancient Greece'

This event will involve actors wearing the very authentic 'Belle Epoque' garments, surrounding the visitors with an experience of archeaology, music and most important of all Greek Civilisation.

From 29th May - 29th November: 'A view from Greece' exhibition

This exhibition will fully focus on Greek history within the 19th and 20th Century through photographs taken over the years.

One of the other great opportunities available in Beaulieu sur mer is to rent a boat for a day  and tour the beautiful coastline of the Riviera, passing the colourful buildings which decorate the coast to make the Cote D'Azur one of a kind, architecturally.

Another luxurious abode to visit nearby, is the equally stunning Villa d’Ephrussi de Rothschild. The mansion, and its seven incredible gardens, provide a totally luxurious and memorable experience for visitors on the Côte d’Azur. Not only is the architecture truly magnificent, but also the renown owner of the house, Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, who was known widely for her eccentricity in both 19th and 20th Century. From arranging a wedding for her dogs with the guests also being dogs of well known aristocrats and lady's to having a room dedicated to her pet monkeys. This place is spellbounding, somewhere which is truly intriguing due to it's lack of relativity with most visitors, this is what makes the mansion so popular. If you do decide to visit during summer, make sure to check the website for the opening times below, as you want to be there the moment it opens with it being an extremely popular monument throughout the season.

If you have a family with two parents and two younger children, they also offer free entry for the second child who is between 7 to 17 years old, to save some money on the trip.

Zelo's Private Beach Restaurant
Zelo’s private beach has its own restaurant offering a simple menu of Mediterranean fare and international dishes, one of the popular options would be to try the Sushi in the beach restaurant which is available to eat within the opening months apart from June (highly recommended!). There is a good wine list and service is efficient. The food is available from 12pm to 17pm, along Zelo's.

Also, if you want to taste the traditional nicoise cuisine within the area, we would suggest visiting the tourism office located at:

Rue Georges Clemenceau
Beaulieu-sur-Mer

04 93 01 02 21

This is located right near the Beaulieu-sur-Mer train station, and will provide information on fundamentally the best restaurants to suit your tastes in the Beaulieu-sur-Mer region ideally for when you leave the beach that day.

The tourism office is open:

Monday-Friday : 8:30am-12:30pm 13:30pm-16:30pm

They are very helpful, and speak both French and English, for those who are not so confident with the French language whilst visiting the South of France.

Easy Beach Booking tips:

Dive into the Mediterranean Sea with Easy Dive Booking and chose a dive site near to your private beach. Enjoy one of the world's most unique underwater diving experiences this year with Easy Dive Booking.

At Easy Diving Booking, we even offer a way of tieing the knot underwater, believe it or not, it can be done!

If you want to make your wedding that extra bit special, go that extra step further from a typical 'beach wedding'

A useful tip when preparing in advance for your beach visit, would be to book your sunbeds for the morning around 8:00am for sunrise if you are an early riser or around 10am for those who would like a 'lie-in' to enjoy the calm summer morning. If you haven't booked a hotel near your ideal beach, you can always rent a boat in the morning to take you to the nearest port to your booked beach, in this case it would be taking a boat to the home port of Beaulieu-sur-Mer and lying on the Zelo Beach. Lay back on the sunbeds, in the July riviera sun, watch the sun rise and keep hydrated and appetized with the alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks, and apperitifs such as olives and bread, spending the day at Beaulieu-sur-Mer experiencing the atmosphere both in daylight and at night.

Even if you are expecting to be rather active, and cram as many excursions in as possible for your vacation, I would recommend one 'relaxed beach day' by booking your sunbeds in advance and be prepared to top up on a luscious bronzed Riviera tan.
