About the beach
Established in 1923, the team at Bijou Plage beach have many years of hospitality experience on the Côte d’Azur. The beach has retained its original atmosphere- seamlessly blending style, elegance and tradition. The beach enjoys some of the finest views on the Riviera, looking out towards the Lérins islands, the Cap d’Antibes and the Palm Beach Point in Cannes. The décor uses neutral colours and teak furniture to create a sense of harmony by the waterfront. There are 200 sun loungers available to guests, which can be rented for a full or half day. It is open every day from 9am to 7pm from the beginning of April to the end of September, and during this time, swimming is supervised by a lifeguard.

Nearby Juan les Pins is noted for its nightlife, particularly during the summer months. The bars, restaurants and cafés are in abundance, and the casino is also a popular haunt when the sun goes down.
The Juan les Pins jazz festival, which takes place every July, is without a doubt the best time to visit this Riviera town, whose jazz history dates back to the early 20th century. Some of the biggest names of the genre gather here daily throughout the festival to entertain the music-loving crowds.
One of the other great opportunities available in Juan les pins is to rent a boat for a day and tour the beautiful coastline.

By car: Exit the A8 motorway at the Antibes junction, and follow signs for Juan les Pins.
By bus: Juan les Pins is well connected by bus to the surrounding towns along the Côte d’Azur. Bijou Plage private beach is within easy walking distance from the centre of the town.
By train: The train station of Juan les Pins is a short walk away from the beach.

The beach restaurant at Bijou Plage is quite upmarket, and offers a gastronomic selection of fine seafood and fish dishes, including local specialities such as Bouillabaisse, a classic French seafood stew. There are fixed menus ranging between €24 and €50, including some tasting menus. There is also a beach menu for those looking for a more relaxed snack on the sand. There is live music most evenings at the restaurant, and events of 25 – 350 people can be arranged upon request.
