More beaches than ever in the French Riviera have received blue flags - Monday 4 June 2012
Many of the stunning beaches that line the beautiful coastline of the French Riviera have been given the prestigious blue flag award due to their quality service and environmental excellence.
Fifty-two beaches in total on the French Riviera coastline both public and private have been given the blue flag for being recognised as having high water quality, safety, environmental education and generally sound environmental management criteria.
Some of the French Riviera beaches which have received them are Beau Rivage and Lido beaches in Nice and many more.
