Antibes is a popular beach resort situated between Cannes and Nice on the South of France’s Côte d’Azur. Life in Antibes revolves around its charming old town, with its network of small streets and alleys which are home to many charming restaurants and shops. The covered market, or Marché Provençale is a food lover’s paradise, with a multitude of stalls teeming with local produce, charcuterie, flowers and handicrafts. Antibes is the hub of the Anglo community living on the French Riviera, and as a result, English is widely spoken in the cafés, boutiques and bars.
 
The Antibes old town is home to the famous Picasso museum, which was the first museum in the world to be dedicated to the legendary artist. It is housed in the 16^th century Chateau Grimaldi, and is located next to the beautiful central church of Antibes and the old town ramparts.
